

Marjorie Ann Walker, 77, of Sidney, Nebraska, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Sidney Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 6, 1936 in Blue Hill, Nebraska to Edward and Emma (Arndt) Buss.
Growing up in Blue Hill, Marjorie’s family owned and operated a restaurant. Marjorie graduated from Greeley High School. She worked for Woolco, Kodak and Monfort Lamb Plant.
On September 1, 1956, she married George Walker at Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley. They lived in Greeley after getting married and were members of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. They moved to La Salle when the kids were young. In the mid-1980s they moved to Kersey and after George passed away, Marjorie moved to Sidney.
Marjorie enjoyed playing cards and board games with her grandkids. She also enjoyed crocheting and watching the Game Show Network.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Lisa Keiser of Kersey; son, Rex Walker (Stacey) of Kersey; three sisters, Nelma Jean Reed, Joanne Wolff and Francis Moss and three grandchildren, Marcus Walker, Alec Keiser, Ashley Keiser.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Emma Buss, husband, George and brother, Don Buss.
Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
