Martha “Marty” Ellen Rowe, 91 of Greeley / Evans passed away May 23, 2014 while receiving hospice care at Bonell. She was born April 17, 1923 in Davis City, Iowa to John K. and Anna (Bauman) Henderson.
She graduated from Atchison High School in Atchison, Kansas in 1941 and moved to Greeley in 1947 where she began working for Western Union. She married John Rowe, Jr. on June 27, 1948 on the Rowe family farm in Gill. He preceded her on January 21, 2007.
Marty had many hobbies and interests, too many to even begin to list.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Larry) Curtis of Evans and her son, Linn Rowe of Greeley as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters, Esther and Elsie and her brother, Bill.
Cremation will take place with Private Memorial Service at a later date.
