

Mary Louise Stoltz, 71, of Eaton, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center. Mary was born on February 19, 1944 in Sterling, Colorado to Frank and Marjorie (McLean) Carrigan.
Mary was raised in New Raymer. She received her certificate in Domestic Violence and Crisis
Intervention and she was a CPR and First Aid Instructor.
Mary worked as a nursing assistant, volunteered for Red Cross and was a volunteer advocate for the
child abuse center and battered women’s shelter.
Mary enjoyed taking care of people, gardening, writing poems and drawing. She also enjoyed making
birthday cakes for family.
“My greatest achievement in life was in becoming a mother and grandmother. My greatest recognition was in helping people who were more disadvantaged than myself. My greatest comfort in my times of
need and sorrow, I found with my family and with the grace of God and also with my loving dog,
Peanut.”
Mary is survived by two sons, Todd (Christina) Stoltz and Troy Stoltz; grandchildren, Trista Daugherty,
Krystel, Jessica and Todd "TJ" Stoltz and Amy, Travis, Chase, Brandy, Nikki Stoltz and
great-grandchildren, Danessa and Elaina Daughtery, William and Kennedy Roybal, Aden and Baby Girl Salinas, Cassidee Stoltz, Damian Maddox, Jadi Vaughn, Baylee Dent, Landen and Lilly Stoltz and Kasper
Stoltz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bonnie Allan.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 followed my Funeral service at 1:00
p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
