After moving to Colorado, Melissa attended school at the University of Northern Colorado Lab School and the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind in Colorado Springs. She loved indoor gardening, BBQ’s, being outside, cooking, crafts, and enjoyed dancing. She loved spending time with her favorite people, “Fox” and “Popeye”.
She is survived by her mother Glenda Kendrix; sisters Amanda Martin and Shawna Saylor; niece, Paris and Daniel Espinoza; great-nephews, Freddie “Fox” and Adriel “Popeye”.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Irene Stacy.
