

Michael McNulty, 68 of Loveland, Colorado was called home suddenly on February 20, 2015 to reside with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born in San Francisco, California and he graduated from Servite High School in Anaheim, California. He served three tours of duty in the Navy between 1964-1968 and received honors including the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Navy Unit Commendation Medal.
He found the love of his life, Julie and the two were married in 1978. Michael was the Father of five children: Jerry, Elizabeth, Michelle, Christine and Kathryn as well as the loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren. He is survived by his parents Rita Mary McNulty and Alfred Michael McNulty, and his two sisters Kathy Vanson and Monica Heidemann. He ran a successful insurance agency in Southern California for many years before starting his own organization The Citizens Organization for Public Safety. Over the past 20 years he has dealt extensively with Federal agencies and elected officials in pursuit of sensitive and sometimes controversial information, furthering goals and objectives concerning the public’s safety and civil rights. He hosted a weekly national talk radio program from 1995-2005. He produced three films including Waco the Rules of Engagement, which was nominated for an Academy Award. He won an Emmy award for National Investigative Journalism in 1998. Michael also received the Accuracy in the Media annual award for Outstanding Investigative Reporting in 1999. Michael has made hundreds of talk radio and television appearances as an authoritative guest speaking on a variety of subjects involving public interest issues. He served for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in various callings over the last 40 years.
Services will be held at the Loveland Colorado Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 3800 Mountain Lion Avenue, Loveland Colorado on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10am then procession will follow to Ft.
