Neil Downing Bostick of Evans, Colorado died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home. He was born on March 29, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama to James Thomas and Juanita (Cherry) Bostick. He attended Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, graduating in 1961, making him a Golden Eagle this year.
Neil was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy; he retired as a Major in the US Air Force after being a Navigator Bombardier on B-52 and F-111B aircraft. He was a Vietnam Vet. Following his retirement from the Air Force he worked as a computer programmer until he retired.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Wanda (Jeffcoat) Bostick of Evans, Colorado; daughters Rebecca D. Little (James) of Auburn, Alabama and Catherine D. Bostick of Greeley, Colorado;
son James D. Bostick of Birmingham, Alabama and three grandchildren, Rachel, Naomi and Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, a sister and 2 sons, Stephen and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Front Range Hospice, and Alzheimer’s Association in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, CO 80634.
