Nicole Olijide "Nikki" Shoals-Martinez, 28 years old, of Eaton, Colorado, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 . She was born February 3, 1993 in Rangely, Colorado to Pamela Martinez of Eaton and McCoy Shoals II of St. Louis, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Garden at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Nikki graduated from the Greeley Alternative School in 2011. She was employed at Accelerated Rehab Therapy. Nikki was very passionate and loved spending time with her boys. They enjoyed traveling, swimming, watching movies along with dancing and singing to music. She also adored her niece Araceli. Nikki was her Titi. Nothing meant more to Nikki than being around her family; they are the center of her heart. She had bonds with friends that were unbreakable. She fully believed in the medicinal and spiritual properties of cannabis. It was an enlightening part of her life.
Nikki is survived by her two sons, Keshon & Hakeem Rodriguez-Martinez of Eaton; brothers, Isiah (Olivia) Martinez of Kersey & Oziah Martinez of Eaton; sister, Isabel Arredondo (Aron) of Eaton; four additional siblings on her father's side; maternal grandparents, Elias & Nelda Martinez of Monte Vista, Colorado; Aunt Anita & Uncle Wesley of Center, Colorado and Uncle Donovan & Auntie Monica of Windsor, Colorado; along with numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by Margo Rodriguez (her everlasting love); son, Omari Legend & paternal grandparents, Rev. McCoy Shoals Sr. & wife Etta Shoals.
