Paul Gilbert Chacon, 51, of Evans, died Monday, August 24, 2020 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born February 28, 1969 in Greeley to Steve Chacon, Jr. and Lupe (Huerta) Chacon. Paul was raised in Loveland.
Paul attended Thomas Valley High School and received his Associate’s degree from Pueblo State University.
Paul was currently employed by Décor in Greeley. Previously he was employed by DBE Construction Supply.
Paul enjoyed spending time with his entire family. He loved barbequing for everyone and making them laugh. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. He lived life as simply as possible. Anytime he had the opportunity, he would have his dog, Rona, by his side. They loved to get ice cream together.
Paul is survived by his wife, Becky Sanchez of Evans; five sons, Jarod, Nick, Jordan, Sam and Emilio all of Texas and Greeley; two daughters, Charise and Marisa of Texas and Greeley; two daughters-in-law, Jackie and Dee of Greeley; his dog, Rona; 16 grandkids, Ember, Demetri, Nicholi, Sam, Jr., Marcos, Angel, Neveah, David, Jackie Ann, Mateo, Tony, Naomi, LeAnna, Marisa, Lexie and Mia all of Texas, Greeley and Loveland; godchild, Deziree Garcia; his parents, Steve Jr. and Lupe Chacon of Loveland; sisters, Mary, Rita and Priscilla all of Loveland; sister-in-law, Youlanda of Loveland; brothers-in-law, Archie and Jason; 17 nieces and nephews, Mando, Anthony, Adrian, Carlos, Rene, Olivia, LaRissa, Steven, Vanessa, Lyndsey, Steven, Willy, Vince, Brittney, Pauline, Mari and Trish all of Loveland and Greeley and a great-niece and great-nephew, Emilio and Elena.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Chacon II of Loveland.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Service will be from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the VFW, Post 2121.
