I had the pleasure of working with Pete at Crown Equipment in the 80's. He was a valuable employee and a friend to all. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Pat, Pauline, & Peter,  I was shocked to read Peter's obit in the Aroostook Republican today.  As you know, your husband and I were close friends in our youth which lasted for his lifetime.  Sandy and I are so sorry and extend to you our heartfelt condolences.  As you well-know, Pete was a good man, and I know he loved you deeply.  Our prayers go out to you. The world is a little more empty without Peter. Peter lived with us for a while and we loved him then as we do now.  Thanks, Peter, for babysitting so Helen and I could attend the Prom. You always let others come first. Although we didn't stay in touch over the years, I always had and will continue to have fond memories of our youth together.  Sail on oh mighty sailor.

Peter will be sorely missed.  He was the sweetest and kindest man we ever knew.  We loved him dearly and hope you are doing well during this really sorrowful time.  Please contact us if there is anything we can ever do for you.

Peter was a wonderful brother and a kind man. We will miss him dearly but we look forward to the day when we will be with him. I'm sure that Peter his Dad his brother Thomas and grandson Joshua will all be together having a good time. Waiting for the rest of us to get  up there so that we can have a big family reunion. Dear Aunt Iris, Pat. Pauline, Pete, and all McDonald Cousins,
Peter was a really nice man...helpful, kind, a great smile, and unshakable courage.  Life was often difficult, full of challenges...he kept going...working hard...never giving up.
One of my favorite memories of my cousin was when he visited us in Belfast, Maine.  He was on leave and on his way home to Caribou when he stopped in to visit his Aunt Ruth and Uncle Elmer.  He looked so handsome in his Navy uniform and he let us all try on his sailor's hat...it was great fun to have him visit.
So good-bye Peter...you fought the good fight...cancer did not beat you...it sent you on your way...sort of eternal travel orders from God...say Hi to Mom, Paul, Uncle Clem, and Patrick.  We will love and miss you always.  Rest In Peace.

Dear McDonald family,
The Pulsifer family?'s thoughts are with you during this time of grief. Peter sounded like a wonderful person that had the unique talent of bringing people together and building a loving and extended family. You were truly lucky to have such a light in your life.

Dick and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family.  We are friends of John and Ruthie.  We have heard many good stories about the family.  I know they both will be there in spirit even though they cannot be there in person.   We will be thinking of all of you.

I am very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful influence in our lives, and at the same time delighted that his suffering is over and he is now at peace with our Savior Jesus Christ, and so many others that love him who have passed before him.
I cherish the memories from times past in Caribou... his stories of logging, fishing, camping, and just spending time together.  The endless fun at his mom and dad's camp on long lake.

Dear McDonald Family, 
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one.  Peter V. sounds like such a wonderful person who has touched many people's lives in a positive way.  How fortunate you are to know that he was able to live a good & loving life.  While we miss Peter A's presence back here in Maine we are very glad that he was able to spend these last couple of weeks with someone he obviously cares for very deeply.
