

Quintin “Andy” Anderson, 94 of Greeley, passed away September 23, 2016 at Bonell Good Samaritan. Quintin was born May 18, 1922 in Greeley, CO, to Fritz and Minnie Anderson. He married Phyllis Gates on May 18, 1946.
Quintin attended Greeley High School, graduating in 1940. His education accomplishments included graduation from Doanes College, Colorado State Teachers College (UNC) and earning his Masters degree at Harvard Business School. His education was interrupted by WWII when he joined the Navy, becoming a Lt. (jg). He began working for Alco Roofing before he started his own business, Anderson Roofing of 40 years, in Fort Morgan.
He enjoyed big game hunting, fishing camping and volunteer projects with Gideon’s Society. He had a passion for missionary work and was a business manager for the Day Spring Christian School in Greeley. He was also a past President for the American Baptist Association. Quintin helped build churches, helped develop the Black Forest Baptist Assembly, was a Sunday school teacher and heavily involved with his church. He loved the everyday interaction with family and friends, enjoying the rhythm of the people in Greeley and North eastern Colorado. Quintin was a great story teller and had a wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Anderson; son Forrest L. (Diane) Anderson; daughters Jeanette C. (Carl) Wood and Carol E. (Jerry) Greenwell; brother Cecil Anderson; sister Virginia Webb; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Quintin is preceded in death by his parents; sister Fritzi Shawver; brother Delbert Anderson.
Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens September 30, 2016 at 10:30 A.M.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. October 1, 2016 at Bonell Good Samaritan. Reception will follow.
