Greetings. I am not sure if you will remember me or not, but Cheri and I were very close in high school. I remember going to a cabin in Red Feather with your family. Dean was so fun. He had such a warm personality and I know he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

This is really a shock.  Our sympathies are with you.  Dean would always stop and visit with me if I was out when he drove by.  I always enjoyed our visits - we had mutual friends at Illif.

Dear Joyce & Ron
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dean. Having spent the past many years as your neighbors and spending countless hours talking with Dean at the fence he has been like an extended member of our family. We will surely miss these fence chats. We love all of you and are extremely proud to have known Dean.

To the family of Dean Walker:  I am sorry to learn of your loss. I just happened to be glancing at the newspaper today. Dean was a student of mine at Thompson Valley High School in the Resource Room Program....I have retired from the District, having taught at Thompson Valley H. S. and Bill Reed M. S...If you will allow me, there is a funny story about Dean.  He tried his best at Tennis.  However, his aim was not the best, and most of his volleys ended up on the roof of the swimming pool, near the tennis courts.  Once a week, Coach Hewson would have Dean climb up a ladder and retrieve the multitude of tennis balls that had landed there...  My hope is that this story will bring a smile to your hearts, as Dean brought a smile to my face.. Sincerely, Steve Howard, Teacher.

We are very sad.  Forty-eight was how old our first-born, Larry, was when he was killed in fatal car accident in Ohio in 2002.
