Richard was born November 28, 1950 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond and Marvel Dietz and raised in Commerce City, Colorado. He graduated from Adams City High School being the class of 1968. Richard later married his wife, Diana Dietz at St. Paul Cathedral Church in Denver, Colorado on September 1, 1973.
Heaven received a wonderful man. He was a loving father, devoted husband and a wonderful son, brother and friend. He had a love for books and knowledge, some of his favorite things to read were his westerns by Louis L'Amour and the encyclopedia. He was full of random facts and information that he loved to share. Rich had a cheesy sense of humor and was always telling 'dad' jokes. He could always get us to laugh.
Richard will be remembered by his immediate family- his wife Diane, and his daughters Shanna and Sarah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marvel Dietz, and his sister, Marvel Markin.
