To friends and family our condolences. A soft spoken man with many talents, he will be greatly missed.  His great grandson treasures the barb wire art that he has that Bob made, and says that one day he wants to be creative like that.

I am going to really miss Grandpa even though I didn't get to see him much.  He was very funny and he made me laugh!  I am going to miss that very much!  Grandma just remember I am always with you and you are always with me.  Love you!

I would like to tell all the family that I wish I was there.  I miss everybody and I love you all.  I will miss Grandpa with all my heart.  I am so greatful that I got to spend time with him this summer.  I will treasure all the memories.  Love you all!  Becky

Well, I donb't remember all too much from years ago, but my most fresh memories shared with him was Grandpa and Denis' wedding in Stony Plain. We sat down and talked about his pictures he made and his trip and how he was doing. I was basically focusing my time on him. He gripped my hand and told me ""I'm gettin'old. My hands and brain don't work the same anymore."" It crushed me to hear him say such words and the way he said it made it clear that he knew he wouldn't be around for much longer. I huggede every chance I got and told him I loved him to assure him I cared. Before we had to say our good bye's I gave him my favorite stuffed animal I got from my mom and told him to hold onto it. We all knew it was coming, there was nothing much we could do to change what was bound to happen. Now, look back and remember him with smiles rather than tears because he was funny, outgoing and smart. He made everyone laugh and the laughter shared between family carries memories filling our heart and soul with Great Grandpas' presence. He will always be with us. Grapma...I love you.
