I am so sorry to hear about Rod's passing. He was part of my childhood in Fairway Estates, making a huge impression on me by letting me ride his horse, Buddy. He also was a dear friend of my Aunt and Uncle Helena and Harvey Vredenburg.  He was well loved and respected! Prayers to the family.

To my Gilmore/ Anderson Family,
I love all of you very much. Although time & distance has separated me from the family most of my life Uncle Rod & Aunt Barbara have always been front and center in my memories. Uncle Rod was the kindest sweetest man I think I will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Please know my heart & spirt are with all of you right now. We all know he is in a happier place right now and I rejoice in that knowledge. Love Maryann

Lit a candle in memory of Rodney G. Anderson

We were one of his 18 families that he had on his home teaching list (all at one time--No kidding!) His daughter, Karen was his partner most of the time.  She was my visiting teaching partner at the same time. The toughest job in the church-- on steroids.  Who else in the world can say that they did that many? I use their example to keep me going.
