I worked with Russ at ESAB in the mid 80's.  I was 20 and he was ""the nice old guy at the office.""  He was always kind and helpful.  He taught me a lot about mechanical drafting and how to progress into design work.  I'm not in that field anymore but whenever I use some of those skills I think about Russ.  I'll miss him.

Russell was a very good man--he was one of the most mellow people I've ever known! I love you, Joyce--God's peace be with you.  If you need me , I'm here for you always!  Love, Michael

So many memories--where to begin?  CRAFT SHOWS!  Those were such fun days!  Even after his accident his eyes would still light up at the mention of doing craft shows!  We'll miss ya', Russell--sleep well until we meet again!  Love, Denny and Connie

I am so sorry I could not be there with you at this time. I loved Grandpa and you very much. I will miss him more than words can say. If you need anything please let me know. Even if it is just to talk. I love you very much, please take care of yourself!!!! I will see you this summer (July). The girls can't wait to get into your craft room. Ha Ha.

So sorry that our family is not able to make it to Colorado to wish you all well.  We are grateful for the extraordinary care and dedication you showed Russ since the car accident.  
I think of Russ as my crazy uncle.  He was such a tease.  When I was a kid, he would â???odingâ?? me on the head/shoulder and say lovingly, â???oThatâ???Ts for nothing!  Wait â???~til you do something!â??
