Sally Ann Glanz, 69, of Greeley, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born on December 20, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to Herman and Martha (Goetschius) Brooks.
Sally was raised in Newton, Kansas and graduated from Southeast High School in Wichita. She then attended Emporia State College. She met and married Paul Glanz in Boulder, Colorado. Sally was a homemaker and worked very hard raising six wonderful children.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and loved the Lord.
Sally was also a member of the Lennon Sisters Fan Club. She enjoyed collecting expensive purses, watching soap operas and detective mysteries. She loved baking desserts and was an avid reader. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; five daughters, Lisa Heisser (Glenn), Michelle West, Jamie Binnie (Jeff), Laura Stocker (Warren) and Cristi Martinez (Butch); a son, Paul Glanz, Jr.; ten grandchildren, Nistasha, Ryne, Sara, Madison, Lysa, Mari-Jayne, Erin, Paisley, Drew and April and one great-grandchild, Briella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law, Eugene Glanz, son-in-law, Laurent West, daughter-in-law, Laura Glanz and two grandchildren, Marie-Claire Glanz and Jake Martinez.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
