

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Seth Christopher Burough, who left us too soon on February 15th, 2025, at the age of 21. He was a beloved son and brother who touched the lives of many with his kindness, wit, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
Born on July 3rd, 2003, in Greeley, CO, Seth was the cherished child of David and Caroline (Carrie) Burough and loving brother of Jason Burough. From a young age, he exhibited a deep sense of curiosity and a passion for history and the mechanical side of things by taking objects a part and putting them back together to fix them or just make them work better, which would later define much of his life.
Seth attended kindergarten through 8th grade at St. Mary Catholic School in Greeley, CO and graduated in 2018. He attended University High School in Greeley, CO and graduated online in 2022. He went on to work at UPS as a preloader, where he worked early mornings and was very proud to be a Teamster. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to getting the job done.
Seth gave a lot of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories to his family and friends. He was a devoted grandson to his grandparents, Burton Burough and Donald and Jane Schnell, who will forever remember his warmth, wisdom, and the impacted countless memories. Seth is also survived by his parents and brother as well as Aunts and Uncles – Uncle and Godfather Todd (Kimberly) Schnell of Fremont, OH, Thomas Schnell (Anne) of Sanibel Island, FL, Kevin Schnell of Tucker, GA, Aunt and Godmother Rita Reynolds, Hot Springs, VA, Connie (Jeff) Windecker of Elizabeth, CO, Daniel (Mary) Burough of Bremerton, WA. Cousins – Jonathan Schnell, Laura Schnell, Megan Schnell, Jesse Brown, Cyndi (Zach Reynolds) Windecker, Kari (Zach) Davis, Sean Windecker and his beloved four-legged family members, Rose and Siris.
His was preceded in death by his Grandmother Barbara Burough, Uncle Ron Schliebe and Cousin Joshua Schnell and his four-legged fur baby, Sophie, his cherished English Mastiff.
Seth had a profound love for working on his cars, expanding his knowledge on a wide variety of history topics and amateur gun smithing, which brought immense joy and fulfillment to him. He enjoyed watching countless movies but the ones he specifically loved the most was The Lord of the Rings saga, the first three Indiana Jones and first three Jurassic Park films. He loved playing video games that appealed to his interest of history and complex lore. Being outdoors was another one of his interests, learning and being able to survive off the land. He was also strong willed with his motivation to making the perfect batch of mead.
Seth's legacy is one of love, compassion, and dedication. Seth was sensitive to the needs of others, and whenever things needed to be done, he stepped in quietly and did them without seeking attention or wanting to be in the spotlight. He will be remembered for his unwavering support to family and friends, his insightfulness, his tireless efforts in helping others, and the indelible mark left on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on March 6th from 5 PM to 8 PM at Allnutt Funeral Services 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, CO, where family and friends will gather to honor Seth's extraordinary life. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church 2222 23rd Ave, Greeley, CO. with a reception immediately following back at Allnutt Funeral Services.
As we say see you later to Seth, we take solace in knowing his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his memory and old soul will forever remain a guiding light, inspiring us to live with the same kindness, courage, and grace.
Rest in peace, Seth. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
