Travis J. Salmon was born in Great Lakes, IL on March 10, 1982. He is survived by his parents Laura and James Salmon, brother Grant Donald Salmon, grandparents Eileen Yanda Wisroth, Donald and Sandra Wisroth, and his many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is remembered by his family and friends as the ""Gentle Giant"" with a huge heart and beautiful smile.
Travis treasured every day with his beloved brother Grant and their dog (child) Katana. He lived
life as an adventure and traveled multiple times to Europe, around Australia, and throughout
the United States. Fishing, cooking, and Cadillacs were among his many passions.
Travis moved from this life into the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ on April 6, 2017. His ease to love and generously give to his family and friends was as natural as breathing. He is a treasure
that will forever remain in our hearts.
Because of Travis’ Faith and trust in Jesus Christ, we know he will greet us with his beautiful
smile and a big hug once again when we are together in Heaven.
