I had the honor of meeting Bill back in 2001 while working directly with Shawna. Bill was what I like to call a ""people person"" and always had a smile on his face every time I saw him. He was an AMAZING father, husband, and what a terrific grandpa!! he will be missed but the wonderful memories everyone shared with Bill will always be on our minds. The few times I came out to CO and we got together with Bill I was so amazed at his enthusiasm with life in general.  He would take us on tours no matter where and no matter how long it took.  He seemed to know every nook and cranny of CO.  We always ended up at a great restaurant and spent many wonderful hours with him.  I will miss him greatly.

I am so sorry for your sudden loss!  Bill was a truly SPECIAL man and I am so honored that I got to know him and spend so much time with him!!  You are my 2nd family and Bill was such a huge part of that.  He reminded me of my own Dad in so many ways that it just was a perfect fit.  Bill was so easy to talk to, so welcoming, so outgoing with everyone and had a zest for life.  I have fond memories of our travels, parties, and time together.  He will truly be missed by so many people!

Bill and I worked closely together at AA for the past 6 years. He was my co-worker and my best friend. Our solidarity was unbreakable. We even had the irony of having the same birthday. He had a kind and gentle nature that he shared with all around him. Words cannot describe the gap that will be left in my heart for this unique soul. I am glad he has finally started his retirement and with the love of his family and friends he will live in our hearts forever. May peace be with the family as we move forward with warm memories for the future.

To Bill's family,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Bill. I had the honor of meeting Bill when he first started at American Airlines. At that time I was an instructor from Chicago who would assist in the training of new employees. I always look forward to my trips to Denver because I would be meeting with Bill and he would always welcome me with a big smile and a firm handshake. I could always count on Bill to tell me a interesting story about his farming days or raising turkeys or a just a simple story about a lesson in life that he wanted to pass on to another.
Bill made many friends during his 10 plus years with American Airlines and he will be truely missed by all of his fellow AAers.

Baskerville family memebers; Please know that I considered Bill as one of the top 3 men that I have ever known in my life. He was kind,easy going and one hard worker as well. There is not one person at AA that ever had any bad thing to say about him and he will live on on my heart and memories until he and I meet up again in Heaven.
I am sure I can speak for everyone at AA DEN, that if you need any thing concerning AA, to call on any one of us. We love you and will always be part of our family...

I miss you so much.  You and I went through alot together in Jr High when both our fathers had heart attacks in the 7th grade.  Looking back I truly want you all to know what a blessing and influence your dad and your entire family was to me.  Your dad would do anything for his girls.  He loved you so much.  What a hard loss.

It is with great sadness that I send these condolences to you.  I am sorry to hear the news of the recent loss for your family.  It sounds like he was a wonderful man and I hope the treasured memories will help you cope at this difficult time.  I hope you will enjoy the enclosed poem that was read at a funeral in our family.
