So sorry to hear of Dr Hooper's passing. He was a good man and doctor who those of us who were here during his time at Beckley remember fondly. May your family take comfort in knowing he is still remembered and respected.

It saddens me to learn of the loss of Dr. Hooper.  We sang together in the choir at Beckley Presbyterian Church, and I have so many fond memories of his wit, his graciousness, and his love of music.  he was surprised when I always joined him in the seldom-heard introductory verse of ""White Christmas"" and we sang it in the hallway many times, and I think of him whenever I hear it.  My deepest sympahthes to his family.
