Hello Mitchell Family,
Just wanted to send my condolences . . . 
I just happened to catch Ralph's picture in the Fort Collins obituary. 
Ralph was a great man and a mentor to me . . . mainly through the water treatment world but it was more than that. 
So, I just wanted to say it was a pleasure to know him on this earth walk.  
May his work & wonderful spirit continue on . . . in the other world!!!

My father Ralph at 86 lived a good long life. Few of us will even have the privilege to live that long. He enjoyed what he did in life professionally and otherwise. 
Adding to his achievements in life, While working for the AVCO Research and Advanced Development Division in Wilmington, Massachusetts as a laboratory technician he worked with Dr. Ed Pasmore on projects which lead to the first manned space flight with NASA?'s Mercury project and the re-entry vehicle for the Minute Man Inter Continental Ballistic Missile system which I later worked on during my 4 year career in the US Air force.
Survivors not mentioned in his obituary include my wife, Shirley-Pope Mitchell, My daughter Shawn Jordan and her husband Brian and my 2 grand children, Analys and Clint Jordan
