Passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 14, 2017 at his residence. Richard was born July 8, 1973 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Michael R. Zunker and the late Judith (Drews) Lyons. Richard attended Kewaunee High school where he was a power house in wrestling and football. Richard married Dawn Gossen on June 12, 1999. Richard was a loving father to Alexis Zunker, his pride and joy. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting darts with his friends. He especially enjoyed his weekly video gaming with his best friend Steve Rowe. Richard was the owner of Scarboro Construction. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Zunker; daughter, Alexis Zunker; special friend, Damarco Fredenberg; brothers, Steven (Carrie) Zunker (daughter, Ashton Marshfield), Douglas Zunker of Rio Creek (sons, Brandon, Zackrey, and Douglas Jr.), Donald Zunker of Arizona; Step-father, Donald Lyons of Two Rivers; adoptive parents, Robert (Lori) Steinhorst of Kewaunee; In-Laws, Ralph (Nancy) Gossen of De Pere; Step-siblings, Leo Lyons of Green Bay, Mike Lyons of Amberg, Rick (Tina) Lyons of Two Rivers , and Cindy (Mike) Boulanger of Casco; sisters-in law, Christine Van Enkenvoort of Alabama, Rebecca Schommer of Green Bay, Rebecca Carter of Pennsylvania; his beloved pets, Buddy and Gunner; and Andrea Zunker of Algoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Zunker and Judith Lyons; siblings, Michael, Sandra, and Lonnie Lynn Zunker; Uncles, Ronald and Robert Drews.
