

Born September 11, 1944 in Ozark, Alabama, he was the son of Elmo and Corene (Baldwin) Purcell and was a graduate of Turkey Run High School “class of 1962”.
Bobby had worked at Mallorys for several years and had retired from Happico, where he was a skilled tool and die maker. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard, serving from 1972 to 1973. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the V.F.W.; American Legion; Moose Lodge; and the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his sisters, Chyril Hoke of Bainbridge, June Burns of Lebanon, and Kathy Houser of Newburgh; five nieces; a nephew; great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Allmon officiating. Interment will follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time of service on Sunday.
