Carrie Elizabeth Reynolds

Born November 9, 1926 in Daviess County, IN, she was the daughter of Robert A. and Blanche (Taylor) Allison and was a graduate of Washington High School “Class of 1944”, Washington, IN. She married William E. Reynolds on February 28, 1948 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2003.

Carrie was a homemaker and worked at the J.C.Penney Store in Greencastle for five years. She was a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering and working in her flower garden.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Reynolds (Gary Canada); sons, Tom (Beth) Reynolds and Doug (Jeretta) Reynolds; nine grandchildren, Claire Mock, Peter Reynolds, Jessie Haupt, Carrie Reynolds, Bill Bair, Connie Luna, Katie Bair, Brian Reynolds, and Amy Chew; and 16 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Geraldine McGuire; and brothers, Austin and Louis Allison.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 8th at the funeral home.
