She was born on October 29, 1943 in Greencastle to Lewis W. Case and Lois Eileen Laudig Case.
Deanna was a graduate of St. Vincent’s School of Nursing and had worked at Dr. Ernst’s office until he retired from practice. She then was employed at Putnam County Hospital as an emergency room nurse.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, John P. Monnett; her mother, Lois Eileen Case of Greenwood; two children, John W. Monnett and wife Debbie of Pendleton and Jill Monnett-Kelsey and husband Mark of Greenwood; a brother, Eddie Case and wife Henny of Oxford, OH; and two grandchildren, Alex Kelsey and Brynn Kelsey.
A Celebration of Deanna’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 9 A.M. – 3 P.M. at the Cloverdale American Legion, 501 South Main Street.
Memorials in Deanna’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
