Donna Faye Williams

Born October 30, 1954, in Greencastle, the daughter of Edgar N. and Virginia Gail (Crodian) Steele. She was a graduate of North Putnam High School “Class of 1973”,

Donna worked at Ace Hardware in Greencastle 14 years before retiring. She had previously worked at Charley’s Barbeque for 3 years and was a caregiver for several years.

Donna enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, and baking. She loved hosting cookouts with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Michael R., Bryan S., Gerald A. “Gary”, and Ed Steele Jr.

Donna is survived by her husband Jerry Williams; daughter Michele (Jason) Cox; son Craig (Courtney) Williams; and grandchildren Madison Williams, Cooper Williams, Megan Cox, Stone Stauch, and Stiles Stauch.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 12th at the funeral home.
