

Dorothy Jean Buechler, 92, of Greencastle, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Asbury Towers.
Dorothy was born in Huntington, West Virginia on June 22, 1925, the daughter of Leland Bagby. She was a graduate of Huntington High School in West Virginia. She received an Associate’s Degree in Home Economics.
Mrs. Buechler was a member of Gobin United Methodist Church and Tri Kappa Sorority. She was employed for many years with Public Service of Indiana as a Home Economist. She was a judge at the 4H Fair in the electrical and cooking categories. She and her husband Paul owned and operated the Kream Kastle Drive-Inn and sold Amway for many years.
Survivors include a son, David Buechler, (wife-Peggy), Greencastle; three grandchildren, Angie Jackson, (husband-Donnie), Stacy Buechler, and Leland Buechler; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Emil Paul Buechler; a son, Brian Lee Buechler; and a brother, Leland Bagby Jr.
A graveside memorial service will take place at a later date.
