Elden "Eddie" Higgins Jr.

Eddie was born on July 2, 1959 in Birmingham, Alabama to Elden Barrett Higgins and Elsie M. Perette Higgins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jerry L. Higgins; several aunts and uncles and Prince the cat.

Eddie was employed at Industrial Vinyl Coating in Brazil, where he was a production supervisor.

Surviving are his wife Lesia Ann Higgins, whom he married on August 31, 2002; three children, Stephanie L. Walker of Iuka, MS., Sondra L. Silverberg and husband Scott of Iuka, MS., and Edward B. Kidwell of Indianapolis, IN.; three sisters, Christine Mays of Indianapolis, Anna Devore and husband Chris of Madison, AL, and Angeline Dunn and husband Dr. Paul of Marietta, Ohio; a brother, Larry Higgins of Fishers, IN.; three grandchildren, Sabrina Silverberg, Shane Silverberg and Sloan Silverberg; BB the cat; and a host of knuckleheads, his beloved friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 3 to 6 P.M. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.

Eddie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. Most of all Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
