Ellen was born in Fillmore on March 8, 1932 the daughter of Chester and Louisa (Cline) Cunningham, and was a graduate of Fillmore High School.
Mrs. Cash was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Fillmore, and was active in American Baptist Women’s Ministries. She was also a member of Club 16 and Beechwood Club. Ellen enjoyed traveling, camping, and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three children, Tom Cash, (wife-Carmen), Greencastle, Phyllis Legan, (husband-Mark), Coatesville, and Dan Cash, (wife-Lori), Columbus; a sister, Freda Crews, Greencastle; 13 grandchildren, Angie Murphy, (husband-Michael), Laura Clark, Sarah Waters, (husband-Danny), Ellen Cash, Emily Brinkman, (husband-Brian), Neal Cash, (wife-Brittany), Beth Tharp, (husband-Nick), Wendi Bean, (husband-Alex), Julia Norris, (husband-Andrew), Luke Robinson, (wife-Sarah), Mollie Adams, (husband-Jordan), Jacob Cash, and Lucy Cash; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Thomas Gene Cash; and two daughters, Ruth Ellen Barker, and Kristi Robinson.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church in Fillmore with Pastor Nathan Couch officiating. Burial will follow in Coatesville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
