Greg Ray Adams

Born September 28, 1963 in Anderson, IN, the son of Robert and Priscilla (Lee) Adams. Moved to Greencastle in August of 1971. Greg went to Fillmore, Greencastle, and Cascade school systems.

He was employed at Putnam County Comprehensive Services for approximately 35 years. He lived in a PCCS group home for 18 years before moving to Mill Pond when his health began to fail in 2021.

Greg loved people and sports. He played basketball, bowled, and participated in track in the Special Olympics, proudly displaying his medals and saying “I won”. Greg liked to laugh, play air guitar, and dance.

He was preceded in death by his Father.

Greg is survived by his Mother; four brothers, Alan (wife Karen, Gary (wife Jane), Jeff (wife Donna), and Marc; four nephews; three nieces; one nephew-in-law; two niece-in-laws; and 10 grand nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Jones Cemetery, Yorktown, IN.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 23rd at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
