Harold "Bud" Allen Myers

Harold was born in Clinton on June 15, 1940, the son of Harold and Luella J. (Harvey) Myers, and was a 1959 graduate of Newport High School.

Mr. Myers worked for many years as a Janitor for Putnam County Hospital for over 47 years until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of the Putnam County Beard Club, and a former member of Moose Lodge #1592 in Greencastle. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Norma Myers; three daughters, Pam Myers, Tammy Farris, (husband-Clint), and Rhonda Clark; three step-children, Catherine Richards, (husband-Kevin), Anne New, and James Coons, (wife-Darcy); five sisters, Carolyn Query, Patty Shackelford, (husband-Robert), Joy Harper, (husband-Allen), Robin Henager, (husband-Steve), and Sarah Roark, (husband-Pat); six grandchildren, Todd Chevier, Brock Sage, Ashley Abney, (husband-Travis), Brooklyn Sage, Jennifer Myers, and Jessica Funk; seven step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 29 years, Donna Adams-Myers; and two sisters, Linda Query, Tina Mere.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Watson officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
