She was born on November 8, 1924 in Greencastle to James Pace and Mable Flint Pace.
Helen was a graduate of Roachdale High School, and retired from DePauw University where she was a dispatcher in the security department.
Her parents; and her husband, Arthur E. Samuels preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Garry G. Samuels of Greencastle.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Brick Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating.
Helen never met a stranger.
