Henry E. Myers

Mr. Myers was a long time member of Greencastle Presbyterian Church, Temple Lodge #47 F &AM, and was a former member of the Greencastle Lions Club.

Henry was employed for 42 years at the former J.F. Cannon’s Men’s Store in Greencastle. He had also been employed at Delakamp’s Department Store in Rockville for 8 years, and Mac’s Menswear for 3 years.

He was preceded in death by his parent’s; two sisters, Marcella Bridges and Margaret Peigh; and his beloved wife of 72 ½ years, Rhea D. Myers.

Surviving are his children, Ronald E. Myers and wife Reyna of Goodyear, AZ, Martha D. Sechman and husband Bob of Mooresville, IN, Duane C. Myers of Greencastle, Diane L. Pingleton and husband Jack of Peoria, AZ, Jon W. Myers and wife Ruth of Greencastle, and Daniel B. Myers and wife Patty of Mesa, AZ.; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 10 A.M. at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, with Pastor Wes Kendall officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home, with a Masonic Service at 7 P.M..
