

She was born on June 27, 1923 in New Haven, Connecticut to Frank Muti and Rose Di Nardo Muti.
Mrs. DeCarlo had worked as a secretary for many years, but primarily she was a homemaker. Her passions in life were caring for her family, cooking enormous Italian dinners, and playing piano. She had a remarkable ear for music, and entertained friends and family throughout her life with lively renditions of pop standards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Muti; and two sisters, Mary Muti and Louise DeLaurentis.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Victor DeCarlo; two sons, Victor DeCarlo and wife Pat Newman of Greencastle, and Michael DeCarlo and wife Tracy of Stratford, Connecticut; six grandchildren, Megan Polydoris and husband Daniel, Thomas DeCarlo, Taylor DeCarlo, Chelsea DeCarlo, Amelia DeCarlo, and Ryan DeCarlo and wife Johna; and two great-grandchildren, Sharon DeCarlo and Lucas Polydoris.
