Mary was born in Greencastle on January 21, 1942, the daughter of Donald and Ella (Murphy) Jones, and attended Greencastle High School.
Mrs. Tucker worked for over 30 years as a Nurses Aid until her retirement from Sunset Manor.
Survivors include her five children, Kathy Baker, Ed Jones, James Tucker (Nora), Joe Tucker, (Sheri), and Lisa Collins, (Stephen); three brothers, Robert W. Jones, Kenny Jones and Richard Jones; a sister, Mildred Watts; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Fred William Tucker, two brothers Buddy R. and Donald E Jones; and a sister, Betty J Jones.
At her request there will be no services or visitation, and a cremation will take place at a later date.
