Born December 30, 1942, in Indianapolis, the daughter of William Keith and Eva (Hirt) Buchanan. She attended Bainbridge High School.
Patricia was a homemaker and had worked at the Greencastle High School cafeteria for ten years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Samuel Henry Lancaster Jr; brother David Buchanan; and grandson-in-law Stephen Cramer.
Patricia is survived by her husband Samuel Henry Lancaster; daughter Chris Alspaugh & significant other Gary Orman; siblings Roy Buchanan, Rosemary Lancaster, Don Buchanan, Ron Buchanan, Brenda Combs and Beth Spencer; grandchildren Kayla Cramer and Austin Alspaugh & wife Shelby; great grandchildren Sadie Ann Alspaugh, Rozalyn Ann Cramer; and step great grandchildren Landon Garrett, Olivia Weist, & Everett Weist.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM on Monday until time of services at the funeral home.
