Miss Selsor was my Home Ec teacher and also my 4-H leader for many years.  She was a wonderful lady.  I remember making those towel robes too and how warm the robe was. I also remember making something in cooking class and my twin sister and I used the wrong ingredient and Miss Selsor was able to help us make something else.  I thought of Miss Selsor a few weeks before my older sister gave us the information on her passing.  She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.

I learned so much in Miss Selsor's classes and enjoyed every minute. She was one of the  nicest, nonjudgmental teachers I ever had. She truly had a heart of gold!  We have lost an icon. Thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

Very special lady, I remember in class and also asking me if I would want to represent DHS in a FFA/Co-op group.  I went with Andy Pritchet to a few events and it really made a difference in my life...she would come to our log home and take students through it when learning how to do drawings of outlaying of homes.  Truly a loving lady!  She will be missed and loved

Like so many others, the words kind hearted spring to mind when thinking of Miss Selsor.  She was truly a gentle and loving soul. I recall fondly all the wonderful memories learning to do 4-H demonstrations under her guide. I believe Miss Selsor was a real mentor for my public speaking. Miss Selsor was a sweet flicker of light in this world. She will be missed.

She was a great teacher and taught me many useful things that helped me become a better wife and mother. I loved her classes. What a gentle soul she was. Our prayers are with the family.

Miss Selsor was my 4-H leader for 10 years.  What wonderful memories I have of summer days spent with her in the home ec rooms working on projects and learning from her.  I have never forgotten her sweet patience with me.  I was always a perfectionist and made myself miserable with the stress of striving for "perfect."  She taught me how important it was too do your best and enjoy the process.  I still sew and bake today because of her.  She was truly a peaceful person and her gentleness taught me invaluable lessons about life, how to serve and how to learn.

I don't think I had a teacher in my whole life who impacted me the way she did. Her kindness and gentle nature did more for my self-esteem than I can express. She was the kind of teacher who made each child feel special. Social standing to her didn't seem to exist. Of all of the teachers I had I think Miss Selsor was my favorite. Her humble nature won my heart! I am sure she will be missed so much!

Pat Selsor was one of the best Home Economics teachers ever!  She was so patient with her students.  I learned so much about sewing and cooking.  But more importantly I learned life lessons about patience and serving others.  She will be missed greatly!  My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Miss Selsor was a wonderful person,role model,mentor and friend. She taught countless students to cook and sew during her many years at Danville High School. I spent many Summers with her helping me  and many others sew our 4-H projects.

I had Miss Selsor in high school. She was a wonderful teacher and person. The world has lost a Saint but heaven has gained an angel!!

Miss Selsor could be described many ways, but the best description I have is kind-hearted. Although I never had the opportunity to have her as a teacher, I was fortunate enough to work with her thru 4-H and FHA. Thank you Miss Selsor for your years of service and dedication.

I wasn't fortunate to have her as a teacher but did have her as a sponsor for FHA!  Thought the world of her then and when I got married many years later I invited her to my wedding and so she came to it.  She had a heart of gold.  Great teacher whether in the class room or out.  She will be missed!

Miss Selsor was not only my teacher, 4-H leader and a friend.  She was a big part of my life during my high school years and after as I served on a committee for her classes.  She was the one who made sure my sewing was done to perfection and under her direction I won Grand Champion at the 4-H County Fair my last year.
