Ricky Joe Greene

Born August 25, 1950 in Champaign, IL, the son of Charles Eugene and Ruby Josephine (Roberts) Greene. He was a graduate of Plainfield High School “Class of 1968”.

Ricky had worked as a salesman and life skill trainer for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Timothy E. Greene Sr and a grandson Trenton Tyler Homler.

Ricky is survived by his wife Julie (Welton) Greene; children Richard (Janette) Greene, Richelle Greene, Sarah (Austin) Meinen, Valarie Serviss, and Rusty Jacob Greene; brother Charles (Sue) Greene; sister Donna Baskin; grandchildren Trevor, Damon, Damien, Hallie, Sonia, Peyton, Adrian, and Mason; niece Shannon Holt & family; and nephew Timothy Greene Jr. & family.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Ricky to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Assn.
