Roy Elgin Jetton

Roy was born in Sedalia, Kentucky on September 1, 1931, the son of Roy Elton and Gladys Beauton (Hendon) Jetton, and was a graduate of Sedalia High School.

Mr. Jetton served proudly in the United States Army in Korea. He worked for many years with Ingersoll Rand in Mayfield, Kentucky, and was a member of First Baptist Church in both Mayfield and Greencastle. Roy also served as a Deacon in both congregations.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Hazel A. Jetton; his daughter, Caroline Jetton (husband-David); a sister, Ruth Baker; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John W. Jetton; and a sister, Elaine Jetton.

The family will plan a memorial service in Kentucky with a graveside service in Highland Park Cemetery including Military Honors to be held at a later date.
