Vera Jean Hutchison

Vera was born August 23, 1942 to Forrest and Myrth (Osborn) Williamson. She was a homemaker and worked caring for students for many years in foodservice at DePauw University, South Putnam Schools, and Fillmore Schools.

She was a past member of Bethel Baptist and New Providence Baptist Church.

Vera is survived by a loving family including her children, Lanette S. (Gary) Collier; Douglas E. (Lori) Hutchison, Karen E. (Brad) Jellison, and Rodney C. Hutchison; siblings, Martha J. (Robert) Wallace, Jim (Judy) Williamson, and Jerry (Linda) Williamson; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Vera was preceded in death by her brother, Tracy Williamson.

Funeral Services will be 1pm, Monday, December 19, in Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, with calling there two hours prior to the time of the funeral. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts be made to Bethel Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
