

Angela Rosalie Morisse, 71, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in Jamestown, North Carolina. She was born on May 18, 1954, in New York.Angela was married for 50 years to her husband and best friend, Tom, sharing a life rooted in love, devotion, and family. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home where time together was always the greatest gift.
She was a devoted mother to her three children, Danielle (David), Thomas, and Michael, and a proud and loving grandmother to Gracelyn (John), Connor, Sophia, Olivia, Evan, and Seth. Angela was preceded in death by her son, Michael, whom she loved beyond measure and carried in her heart always.
Angela is also survived by her siblings, Vincent (Joyce), Annette, and Anthony (Lisa), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
In addition to being a wonderful mother and grandmother, Angela cherished being a mom to her two beloved dogs, Bruiser and Gracie, who brought her daily joy and companionship.
She was happiest cooking and sharing a good meal with the people she loved. Angela enjoyed shopping and had a gift for finding just the right thing. Some of her most treasured memories were made while traveling with her husband, children, and grandchildren, especially family vacations to Orlando and visits with loved ones in Texas, Georgia, and New York.
Angela had a rare and special gift—she never met a stranger. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel welcome and valued from the very first conversation.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 6, 2026, Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407 with a visitation one hour prior to service. Committal will be held in Guilford Memorial Park with a reception following in the Sedgefield room to celebrate Angela's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Angela’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
Angela will be remembered for her warmth, her open heart, and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of love lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
