Greensboro- Mrs. Ann Coleman Setzer, 70, died November 15, 2013. A celebration of her life will be at 5:45 PM on Tuesday, November 19 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 7:30 PM.
Ann was born in Greensboro to the late Charles Archie and Elizabeth Rose Wood Coleman. She graduated from Guilford High School and attended Peace College. Ann was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and served for over twenty years as the administrator to the director of the children’s preschool there. She also took part in the church’s morning exercise program and was an avid swimmer.
Ann was a woman with a kind heart and a gentle giving soul. Her gracious spirit and thoughtfulness was demonstrated by how she lived her life and will be the legacy she leaves to her family and friends. She was a beautiful, caring wife to her high school sweetheart Bristol Norman Setzer, during their fifty year marriage; a wonderful mother and a fun loving, often indulgent grandmother. She loved to take outings with her granddaughter, shopping and spending time together. They thought the world of each other.
In addition to her husband, Bristol, she is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Taron of Nashville, TN, Susan Deborah Setzer of Wrightsville Beach and Cindy Setzer Robertson and husband Chris of Summerfield; granddaughter, Logan Ann Robertson; and sister, Nancy Coleman Adams of Mooresville.

The Comfort and Sweetness of Peace
After the clouds, the sunshine,
after the winter, the spring,
after the shower, the rainbow,
for life is a changeable thing.
After the night, the morning,
bidding all darkness cease,
after life’s cares and sorrows,
the comfort and sweetness of peace.
