She was born on July 30, 1948 in New York, a daughter of the late Leon and Hilda Dryer. A loving wife and mother for 40 years, Ava is survived by her husband, Sheldon "Shelly" Greenberg of the home and two sons, Mathew Greenberg,38, Ryan Greenberg, 30, and wife Ann and one grandson, Myer Greenberg. Ava is also survived by her sister, Barbara Trimmer of Maryland. Ava was a loyal and loving friend to those who knew her.
There will be a Graveside Service held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery with Rabbi Fred Guttman officiating.
The family will be sitting Shiva at 3918 Pondfield Court in Greensboro from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
The Greenberg family has lost its central support and most loving member, but will carry on her examples of strength, courage, and love that they learned from her throughout life. Ava will be loved and missed for the rest of their lives.
