Barbara M. Campbell, 90, a longtime Greensboro resident passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. A native of Fieldale Virginia, she was born April 8, 1925, the daughter of the late John William and Gladys Martin. Barbara was retired from UNC-G Student Health Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee B. Campbell. Surviving are her sister, Beatrice M. Bullard of Fieldale, VA; daughters, Kathy Campbell Heathcock of Charlotte, NC, Karol Campbell Murray of Greensboro, NC; sons, Kerry L. Campbell of Ashland, KY, Kenneth B. Campbell of Los Angeles, CA; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Dr. Patrick Cronin officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside service at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, 4800 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410.
