Betty Atkins Glass, 85, a former resident of Jamestown passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2023. She was born May 8, 1937, a sister of nine siblings in Guilford County the daughter of the late Willie Dale and Mary Lou Noah Atkins.
She was a member of Gate City Baptist Church.
Betty was married to Neil B. Glass who preceded her in death.
She was the mother of Cathy, Daniel and Doug. Mother to her special step-daughter, Amy. Betty was grandmother to Cody, Lea and Mya.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
