Preceding her in death was her husband, Sherman Starnes.
She is survived by her sisters Dean O’Connor and Jolene Groome.
Betty was a loving and caring person, always thinking of others first. Known for her positive outlook on life and her wonderful sense of humor, she was beloved by all. Much of her life and energy was devoted as a caregiver. Betty was an active member of Springwood Presbyterian Church. She continued to care for people in need while serving on the Church Community Concerns Committee.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Springwood Presbyterian Church. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Springwood Cemetery. Masks are required inside and social distancing will be observed.
