Dr. Billy Dennis, DDS age 93 and a resident of Greensboro passed away on Friday January 31, 2025 at the Hospice Home of High Point. He was born March 30, 1931 in Rowan County the son of the late Bollian and Ethel Crisco Dennis.
Billy graduated from Catawba College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Denistry and having a career lasting 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War.
He was married to the former Anne Council who preceded him in death on April 15, 2024.
Surviving are his daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Dennis Covington and husband Thomas of Georgetown, SC; his brother, Edward Dennis of Asheville; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Billy’s name to the Hospice Home at High Point 1803 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262.
