

Brenda Warren Faircloth, 83, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025. Born November 18, 1941, in Guilford County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Phillip and Francis Louise Wheatly Warren. She grew up in Browns Summit, NC attending Rankin High School.
Brenda was a trailblazer, becoming one of the first female radio personalities in Guilford County. In addition to her work in broadcasting, she also had a successful career as a real estate broker. Brenda had a heart for supporting those in need, with a special focus on veterans and children. She was known for her vibrant personality and generous heart, never meeting a stranger, human or animal. A devoted wife to Johnnie Faircloth, Brenda loved spending time outdoors with her family. There was nothing more important to Brenda than family gatherings with her brothers and children. There was never a week or weekend where there wasn’t a gathering at a restaurant or somebody’s home. She had a keen eye for antiques and design; Brenda was always delighting loved ones with her latest treasure or creation. Brenda was also admired for her impeccable sense of style, always dressed with grace and flair.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Johnnie Wayne Faircloth, Sr. and her brothers, Wayne, Rodney and Jerry Warren. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tammy T. Wysor (William “Geoff”), Johnnie W. Faircloth, Jr. (Olivia), Tonya T. Shoffner (Charles “Edwin”), Brock Thomas, Dawn R. Faircloth (Marc Jenkins); grandchildren, Tristan Thomas, Amber W. Wilson (Frank), Devon Wagoner, Catherine Shoffner, Anna Shoffner, Lilly Shoffner; great grandchildren, Summer Thomas, and Eliza Wilson and brother, Danny Warren (Vickie). Also surviving are countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, in the Lineberry Center at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, followed by interment at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. till time of the service at the funeral home.
