For days I have been at such a loss for words. But what keeps coming back to me is the way Carlos always greeted me. Each time, I always received the most warm welcome with that beautiful accent “Hellllllo Jena!!!” and a kiss on each cheek. Everything about him was genuine. My heart is hurting for this whole family. Each and every one of you are so special to me, no matter the distance or amount of time spent apart. I know his memory and compassion will carry on and never fade.

My thoughts are with you,
Jena

I worked security there at Honda Aircraft when I met Carlos. He was a really kind and funny man that had a beautiful personality. He could make you smile when you was having a bad day and if you needed help with anything or got lost/didn't know where something was, he would take the time to answer your questions or guide you in the right directions. He truly was a great man! I am deeply sorry for you loss and I know that now he is watching over you. I will keep you in my prayers and pray that you can get this with time. He will be missed! Once again, I offer you my sincerest condolences in this hard time.

Carlos was one of my most talented and wonderful students and advisees at Guilford College. It was an honor to be his teacher and advisor. We all learned more in every class because Carlos was there. He earned the respect of all his fellow students and faculty who worked with him. He would have graduated in December. He was so proud of, and dedicated to, his family. And he was proud to work for HondaJet and always connecting his work there with his academic work. A light has gone out in the lives of all of us who knew Carlos.

Querida Familia.
