Carolyn Roberts Warren

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Boulevard, Greensboro, NC 27407. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial following at Guilford Memorial Park.

Carolyn was the daughter of the late Percy Lee and Florence Pearl Farmer Roberts and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Warren, Sr., three brothers, four sisters, and one great-grandchild.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Cynthia Singleton (David) and Teresa Comer (Kevin); son, Robert W. Warren, Jr. (Gwynne); grandchildren, Elisha Epperson (Joe), Emily Singleton, Jeremy Warren (Dawn), Joshua Warren (Morgan), Samantha Dillon (Josh), Christopher Comer and Hailey Comer; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and three brothers. In addition to her family, Carolyn leaves behind her faithful dog, Pugs that gave her endless joy and companionship.

Carolyn was a member of Hinshaw United Methodist Church as well as the Rose Chapter No. 178 Order of the Eastern Star. She married her husband Robert on May 4, 1958 and they spent a wonderful forty-nine years together.

During her younger years, Carolyn enjoyed camping adventures with her husband Robert and their children, spending time in the mountains and at the beach. These trips created cherished family memories that her children will always remember.

In the later years, she and Robert traveled by motorcycle and visited 48 states, Canada and Mexico. These journeys were treasured experiences that brought her joy and left her family with lasting memories of her adventurous spirit. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and especially her cherished great-grandchildren. Family cookouts, holidays with her family and having her loved ones around her made her especially happy.
